In 2006,Shawn Kyle, Eddie Hudson, and Robert Bechtold joined together and established the new business known as Texas Contracting Services. Performing residential remodeling and commercial construction, the business grew and in October 2007, the partners incorporated under the name of KHB, Inc.

Shawn Kyle grew up in the construction industry from an early age. His experience has taken him from pushing brooms to working as a carpenter, and in 1994 he became a commercial estimator. During his time as an estimator Shawn bid over 1 million square feet of commercial work. He has a vast working knowledge of construction in a variety of areas - office space, retail, restaurants, industry, and high rises. Shawn is fully knowledgeable in residential construction as well. Shawn’s duties at KHB, Inc. range from estimating and project management to customer relations. Shawn is deeply involved in each project from beginning to completion.

Eddie Hudson also knows construction from the ground up. He started as a young boy assisting his father on construction sites and learning wood framing until he was old enough to start his own crew. Always wanting to learn more, Eddie has been involved in numerous phases of residential and commercial construction. Eddie has owned his own business for several years. He continues to be successful due to his wealth of experience in construction as well as his positive “can-do” attitude.

Robert Bechtold has been involved in contracting since 1988 when he started working in the environmental services industry with Texas Environmental Control, Inc. In 1994 Robert became a licensed Realtor and then in 1996, Robert started Robert Scott Homes and built his first custom home. As a small business owner, Robert has been involved in homebuilding, remodeling, and light commercial construction projects for the past 12 years.
